These diverse and comprehensive services include the following examples:
- ACA has provided consulting for counties in developing an administrative structure for operating a public managed care initiative.
- ACA has provided consulting for a multi-county collaborative that included counties scheduled to join the initiative in stages. This staggered implementation involved unusual complexities, since the allocation of benefits, as well as contributions and risks, had to be designed to account for changes in the number of participants.
- ACA has helped a state agency reorganize to attain closer collaboration among its behavioral health agencies, service providers, and consumer and family representatives.
