ACA’s Howard Weitz attended the Pennsylvania Community Providers Association (PCPA) Training and Resource Development Committee on May 28. The committee plans to expand training and education opportunities and technical assistance services to its members. Some of the strategic initiatives proposed included:
- Conducting a training needs assessment and training expertise survey
- Sharing “new practice” models
- Greater utilization of new technology to access stimulus dollars
- Assessing and prioritizing business and service needs
- Promoting best practices to enhance both business processes and service delivery
ACA also plans to contribute its expertise in billing and data analysis, as well as its understanding of PROMISe™ and of integrating mental and physical health data.
