Joe Roynan, a member of the Health and Human Services Interoperability Advisory Committee (HHSIAC) and Montgomery County's Human Services Director, has made arrangements to host HHSIAC's first in-person conference in his county on January 26 and 27, 2010. During the conference, Dr. Collautt will lead other HHSIAC members in discussing their accomplishments to date, their ideas for promoting and publishing the committee's interoperability recommendations, and participation in the 2010 Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) conference. The January conference will also allow committee members to meet in the small collaborative groups they have chosen in order to continue work on the HHSIAC white paper.
