EVERYONE IS UNIQUE AND NO ONE IS DIFFERENT™.
The corporate philosophy of ACA is
rooted in this motto. As a company, we believe that every person is unique and must
be approached in a manner that accommodates and fosters this uniqueness, regardless
of whether the person is a member of our staff, a customer, or a recipient of services
delivered by our customers. Respecting the uniqueness of each person with whom we
interact and respecting the person's rights not to be treated differently is a solid
and appropriate foundation for our company. ACA is, after all, in the human services
business. A commitment to high ideals would be expected of any participant in this
special field. This commitment also guides our approach to customer service.
We are dedicated to serving every one of our customers in the same professional,
competent, and courteous manner.
From its initial interaction with public service delivery systems, ACA established
its product and service philosophy with a focus on local communities and their
self-sustainability. Our strong belief in the growing importance of communities
necessitates that we enthusiastically promote such issues as meaningful stakeholder
participation; recognition of community strengths and the significance of community
internal resources; public accountability; and a responsible approach by community
members to the distribution and use of community resources.
ACA is a strong believer in local controls and the integrated management of public care
delivery systems. This is best achieved through the symbiotic relationships between
communities and the administrative structures responsible for the functioning of public
welfare and human services systems. Such integrated management and committed cooperation
are particularly germane in rural areas where satisfactory operations of public human
services systems are possible because of involvement of local communities and prudent
use of community resources.
ACA is a strong believer in local controls and the integrated management of
public care delivery systems.
Helping people is a rewarding but often challenging task. In public systems, the
challenges multiply exponentially, and governmental and quasi-governmental agencies
seem to be torn apart by the desire to increase the volume and diversity of services
and the mandate to reduce (in relative and sometimes in absolute terms) the costs of
service delivery. Innovative methods and approaches are required to maintain a balance
between these two opposing demands, while managing to satisfy regulatory mandates,
the idiosyncratic specifications of funding authorities, the highly complex data
confidentiality guidelines, and the traditional difficulties of the public sector to
attract and retain administrative and financial managers with creative capacity and
business attitudes. ACA is poised to assist its customers in addressing these
challenges, while never forgetting that the ultimate measure of its success is
the betterment of life of individuals, their families, and their communities.
