MASTRR™ Monitor software and related services are designed to monitor managed care initiatives and to support their compliance with clinical, fiscal, and administrative guidelines.

ACA uses MASTRR™ Monitor to perform oversight services for the Medicaid behavioral health managed care initiative in Pennsylvania (HealthChoices). The application imports proprietary data files as well as HIPAA-compliant standardized transactions, performing edit checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The demographic, eligibility, healthcare claims and authorization information extracted from imported files is used to populate a reporting data warehouse and an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database. These, in turn, provide a wide range of management reports as well as ad hoc querying and charting capacity that allows users to explore data, analyze trends, and address specific questions as they arise.
