National Cyber Security Awareness Month


October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). This campaign, an initiative of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is focused on raising awareness about cyber security, and providing tools and resources to help everyone stay safe online.

The Department’s Stop.Think.Connect. Toolkit provides educational resources for all segments of the community on relevant topics for both general cyber security and HIPAA, including: Social Media, The Internet of Things, Cyber Security While Traveling, Best Practices for using public WIFI, Malware and Phishing.
