Data Janitorial Services
Data “janitorial” services is a phrase coined by ACA to describe services aimed at addressing a range of inconsistencies, discrepancies and incongruities that commonly arise in the collection and maintenance of data. Such problems can arise from a variety of sources including:
- Data entry errors
- Poor database design
- Problematic conversions from legacy systems
- Inconsistencies in code values and cross-referencing
- The accumulation of Excel spreadsheets and small Access databases storing redundant or conflicting information
ACA staff have the skills and experience to quickly identify and rectify such problems and make recommendations for preventing their recurrence.
